What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Some of my main goals in hockey over the next 5 years would be to get an NCAA scholarship and pursue that dream of mine. Become a starting goalie at the junior A level.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These are my goals as I have dreamt about them ever since I first started playing hockey. Education has always been an important thing to me and being able to play a high level of hockey while getting a degree is the ultimate situation. If I was to achieve this goal, I would be very proud of my own accomplishments and be very great full for the help of those around me.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
I am a strong and fast goaltender who has the ability to arrive at the play on time, giving myself the best opportunity to make the save. I am a kind person who is always looking out for those around me and trying to do my best to help others. I believe I could improve on my decision-making when playing the puck and making a quick play, giving my team a jump on the other team. I continue to get better as I am always looking to try new ways to push myself both on and off the ice.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring a positive attitude and someone who can be depended on to make a responsible decision. I am level-headed and act maturely. I am always trying to push those around me while pushing myself as well.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
The impact I am looking to have in my sports career is being able to be someone who sets a good example for others. I always want to make the right decision and put others ahead of myself.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
The things that separate the best athletes in the world are their constant desire to improve in all areas of their lives. They will always take the opportunity to get one step better. They are very disciplined and stay on track with whatever goal they have set for themselves.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
I love to compete.
