What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Some of my main goals within hockey over the next 5 years is that I would like to become the best hockey player I can become. I want to get stronger in the gym and I want to get smarter to become more of an offensive threat. I want to turn heads and continue to work hard and grow into the hockey player I am going to become. I want to build my confidence up and have fun while I’m doing it. I want to play junior hockey and collage/University hockey.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These are important to me, because it means more than just hockey but about life. To achieve my goals, would mean everything to me since I put so much work and dedication into trying to achieve these goals, and would be a dream come true.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
what separates me as a player is my work ethic. Put me in a room and I will be the hardest worker. I have a high level of compete and competitive that sets me from the rest because I always am wanting to improve my game and areas of improvement. I also have a good head on my shoulders, I have my priorities straight on and off the ice. Areas of work is my puck skill
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring my compete level and my work ethic. I am a hard worker who will give his everything to succeed. I also bring my love to the game. I coach my expect for me is my dedication to becoming a better hockey player, but also a trust worthy defensemen, who has a good head on your shoulders, and I am going to be the hardest worker on their team. I pay attention to detail and are able to play with a high-level intensity and compete. I’m also a team player who strives for teams success.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
Impacts I am looking for is to always be making a difference on and off the ice. I always want to be someone that my peers can look up too. I want to be a positive leader on and off the ice and contribute to my teams success.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I believe what sets the best players in the world is their mindset. Mental strength is everything when competing in sports. preparation is what sets the good from the great, you always gotta be thinking of one step ahead of the situations that are about to happen. i believe having confidence is a major factor in someone’s success as long with, I love for the game and you have to be able to work when no one’s watching or when you don’t feel like it. Being able to persevere are all the things that set apart the best players in the world.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favourite thing about the game would have to be spending time with the boys. Making memories with the boys is by far my favourite thing about the game because it’s the things you’re gonna remember for the rest of your life. You are also making life long friends.
