What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
In 5 years I’d like to play college hockey D1 and be one of the best players in my own team.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
Those goals are important for me because I want to connect hockey and school. College D1 is my biggest goal it’s even bigger than NHL. College hockey is just my dream than I’m working towards it everyday.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
My personality and hockey skill set separate me from others. I’m always working hard I’m not trying to look cool in front of everyone, I’m more into myself and doing everything I can to get better even when I’m hurt or sick.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I’ll leave everything on ice every practice and every game. I’m very friendly so I’m trying to motivate everyone and make everyone a better player with me.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I’m a competitive guy who wants to be the best all time, I want to be one of the best players on every team I play for.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I think from age like 16-17 it’s all about mentality and that’s the thing that separates the best from average. I’m working on my mentality and I’m trying to be best version of myself like the best players in the world. I love to watch play Pavel Datsyuk because you can actually see that his mentality is different than everyone else’s.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
I fell in love with this sport in one year of playing. For me hockey is my life and I can’t imagine living my life without playing hockey. I love to feel pressure in the game and be part of game flow. I really enjoy hard work and sacrifice in training, because it’s only way I can move forward and improve myself as a player.
