What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
My goal for hockey and where it takes me in the next five years is based on education opportunities. My big goal is to have a scholarship to a college or university. Whether this scholarship is from the WHL after playing in their league or if it is an NCAA scholarship. Both help me with my education and steering my future in a great direction.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
A scholarship is my main goal as I would like to pursue a business degree at a university possibly, and this goal will help me fund my education and reach the goals I have after all of my schooling. This goal means a lot to me because it will help me kickstart my adult life and support my financial needs. It would mean a lot to achieve this goal, and I am willing to work very hard to reach it.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?

What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I think I bring positivity to a team on and off the ice. I am friendly with all my teammates, and I think I help build team chemistry. A coach can expect a good teammate who will help bring players up while maintaining a good play style. I also contribute physicality, solid defence, and the ability to create offense when it is necessary to do.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I want to be a positive example within the sport of hockey and show people that hockey players can be respectful, responsible, and accountable athletes. This is especially important with everything happening with Hockey Canada over the past year. I want to help a team win a championship and compete at the highest level I can.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I believe intelligence and knowledge of the game separate the best players in the world. To play at a high level, you need to have skill but to dominate at high levels; you need to have hockey IQ and know the game well. The best players have it all.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
I love being on a team and in a team environment. On the ice, I love the game’s intensity. I enjoy being able to play in intense moments like championship games. Off the ice, I enjoy training hard and seeing gains in my strength and performance.
