What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Being a point per game player in junior would be a great goal to achieve because it would prove that I’m a consistent offensive producer. This is a goal of mine, because I know I can be solid defensively, but to be able to consistently produce offence simultaneously would be great
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
College hockey is such a high level, and to be able to be impactful consistently would be a great feeling for me.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
What separates me is my work ethic. I will consistently work hard on the things that I need to in order to get better. My skating is an area that I have been, and will continue to work on.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring leadership and energy to a team. I do things the right way day in and day out, on and off ice. I am a good voice in the locker room, and I always try to keep myself and teammates positive.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I want to play pro hockey. That is my end goal, and I will continue to work until I’m there.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I think consistent hard work is what separates the best players. It’s easy to work hard sometimes, but to work hard all the times is difficult. But it’s the ones who can do so, that become the most successful.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
I’ve always loved the comradery, with hockey. It’s unlike any other sport, where you meet so many similar people and they become great friends. I also love seeing my own progress when playing. Working on a skill and seeing myself perform it effectively is a great feeling.
