What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Within 5 years I want either to play in the WHL and then go to play USports or play Jr. A and then go on to play NCAA.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These are my goals because I want to play the highest level of hockey I can for the longest time possible. It would mean a lot to me because I would be able to get experience playing the game I love.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
I think one thing that separates me is my work ethic. I need to work on my mental side of the game to get better, I continue to work on my weaknesses on my off time.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring a strong physical presence who is responsible on the d-side of the ice. A coach could expect me to win 50/50 battle, blocking shots, making smart offensive and defensive plays and hitting.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I want to have an impact on every team I play for by helping the team be successful.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
Hockey IQ – the ability to see the game well and make good and quick decisions.
Speed – the ability to skate faster than most players.
Finishing all of your chances – being able to score on every scoring opportunity.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favourite thing about hockey is the feeling you get when you first step on the ice, the cold air, the smell and the sound.
