What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
To develop as much as I can as a player, the more I can develop it will make me more ready for the next level, being able to produce on the offensive end and being able to capitalize on my opportunities.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
Being a developed player will make me more prepared and ready for junior and college hockey. Being able to produce and capitalize is what you need to do in junior and college and to be able to do that would make me feel great.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
What separates me is my leadership. I will go out every shift, work hard and set a good example. My area that I need to improve on is my edge work and I will continually work on it when I am on the ice and off.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I compete and bring energy to the team. I work hard no matter what and I bring energy and positivity to every practice, workout, and game. I will always hold my teammates and one another accountable and would never make them do something I wouldn’t.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I want to play pro hockey as my end goal, and I won’t stop till I get there.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I feel the people that constantly show up every day prepared and give everything they have day in and day out. It’s hard to do so but the ones that do will be the most successful.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favourite thing about hockey is no matter what’s happening I’m always having fun when I am on the ice. There is always something new to learn on and off the ice. The best thing though is the compete of the game. I’ll cry for this game, I’ll scream for this game and I’ll always be smiling for this game.
