What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Junior Tier 1/Tier 2 then NCAA D1 or Usport.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
I want to get a good education while developing for my sport. Perform at the highest level against the best players
of my age group.
They are important to me because I always want to level up to continue to improve my game. It would mean a lot to me because I’ve always worked hard and based my lifestyle around it and It would mean that my efforts and sacrifices have paid off. What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
Know when and how to have fun, but always work hard . Be a positive influence in the team
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring leadership to any team by my discipline and my passion for the game. I think my love for the game shows others why they should be dedicated to it. I can inspire others to develop themselves. My coach can expect me to be sharp, to lead by example, and that I am always ready for the game, that I will give my 100% each time I’m on ice.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I would like to be a pillar for my team, a player that my team counts on to help my team win. I would like to inspire young hockey players to love and experience hockey the same way I did.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
Their hard work, their passion, how they always want to improve themselves. Their determination, resilience, intelligence and leadership. The way they base their lifestyle around hockey, their training on ice and off ice, nutrition, attitude, their choice of activities
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favorite thing about the game is to work hard all year long and to get the feeling of accomplishment after a win. I like to be with my teammates, on ice and off ice. It’s a sport that brings people together.
