What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Take the game as far as I can. First year of Junior hockey get settled into playing Junior hockey and experience what it is all about, 2nd year be an effective player on the team, 3rd year be at the top of my game within Junior A and start moving towards going to play for college or university, hopefully NCAA.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
I have always loved hockey and I want it to be part of my life forever. I want to be proud of my hockey accomplishments and make the people around me that helped me get here proud of me as well. I want the hard work I have put in over many years to pay off.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
I desire being better at hockey more than anything as a player. As a person I know that takes a lot of hard work and sacrifice. I am very dedicated to being a better player but I could be better as a person in school and with my parents. I could apply myself as much as I do in hockey as I do in my schooling home life.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
Motivation, dedication, desire, social with the team on and off the ice, hardwork ethic, dedication to be better than the day before every day.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I want to be part of what ever community I am playing in. I want our team to be part of the community, to help and to be look highly and positively upon. I want what ever community I play for to be proud of their home town team.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
To be very humble, professional at all times on and off the ice, to be positive to their peers and there community all the time. The best players in the world I believe have to be obsessed with the game as well and make it their world above almost everything else.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
Going out on the ice, practicing, learning new things from different people, making new friends, having new experiences, getting better, growing as a player and person. And WINNING.
