What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Some of my main goals in hockey over the next 5 years are playing Jr or NCAA hockey and being able to make it my life.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These are my goals because I love the game and I would do anything to lay the game for a long time, it would mean the world to me if I can live out my childhood dream.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
What separates me as a player and a person, is that I am motivated on and off the ice. I think my attitude also separates me from others and how driven I am to play the game of hockey. The things I have to work on are procrastinating things with schoolwork, so I can get things done and put school first.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring good energy, a hard-working mentality and leadership into the room. These qualities help me set myself and the team up for success as we hold each other accountable.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
The impact I am trying to leave after my career is over is for the up-and-coming players to look up to me not only for how I was on the ice but also for the positive impact I make off the ice with all the people I meet along the way and for the younger generation to follow in footsteps.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I think what separates the best players in the world is their dedication to the game, and how they work as a unit and will push themselves to the limit, as they will do anything to win no matter what thus pushing one another to be better.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favourite thing about the game is just being at the rink with all the guys having a laugh and creating memories I will never forget. Also just playing the game, being on the ice, and trying to get the win.
