What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
In the next 5 years, I want to play WHL or Junior A and then move to the NCAA level.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
WHL is important to me because it’s a league I’ve always looked up to and wanted to get there, and Junior A is important because it’s a great way to get into college. Being a student-athlete is important to me.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
One thing that separates me is my IQ, passion and dedication to every area of the game. I stay calm on the ice and I am a dependable teammate on and off the ice. I have been working on my personal goals and sticking to them to help me improve my game.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
A coach would expect a smart, dependable player who is coachable and executes what he learns very well. He would know I am reliable and consistent and have a very high hockey IQ.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I want to impact every team I play for by being that team player who pushes himself to do his very best to make my team successful. I am solid and dependable on the power play and penalty kill.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
Their work ethic and dedication to get better and make high-level plays.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
Scoring or seeing one of your teammates score a goal and winning the championship with a team you worked so hard all season with.
