What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Some of my main goals within the game over the next 5 years would be to become a quicker player and have all-around better movement. My goal is to be quicker with my feet and with that comes better agility and quicker speed. My other main goal is to be calmer and quicker with the puck and not hesitate to make a move.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These are my goals because these are things I notice in my game and know I can do better at. They are important to me because they will make me an all-around better player and will boost my confidence level. To achieve these goals I have to put the time and effort into training, doing drills and workouts to help with accomplishing them.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
I am a nice person off the ice but on the ice, I play with grit and I play aggressively to win. My mindset on and off the ice separates me as a player and the way I apply myself in game and practice situations along off-ice situations. The area I think requires work would be stepping up and controlling my gap in the neutral zone. I can continue to get better by training, practicing, and challenging myself.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring a good attitude and good care for my teammates. A coach could expect me to always be working to the best of my ability and challenging myself with things in order to better myself and my play. They can also expect me to have good communication along with me always talking. I get along well with others and I am a dedicated player who takes in advice and does good with criticism.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I am looking to play competitive hockey in a community that supports us. I am wanting to play on a winning team where we all work hard together. I want the way I play along with my teammates for us to play to be noticed and see how valuable we all are.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
The thing that separates the best players in the world is their care, work ethic, mindset and dedication. I think what attributes\intangibles define them is their mental toughness, their willingness to learn and improve and their passion.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favorite thing about the game is being able to have fun doing what I love while being able to be with my friends.
