What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
1. Having an accurate shot.
2. Moving the puck faster up the ice to create more offensive opportunities
3. More powerful strides
4. Harder shot
5. Always improving my IQ
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These goals of mine show what I want for my future. Achieving these goals will improve my game and will improve my play making abilities.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
As a player I’m really driven to achieve my on ice goals. As a person I want to continue my schooling and getting better grades. I always have a good attitude on continuing to get my work done, which makes me a better person. Some areas on improving is my time management towards my schooling and getting stuff done.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
What I bring to the team is a hard working player, with a positive attitude towards the game of hockey. I also bring a big body and a hard shot. A coach will will expect a fast moving player that uses his body to his advantage with the puck and will out work players on the boards.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
The impact I want for my hockey career is to always have a positive attitude towards everything I do in life and hockey.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
The main big thing that separates the best from the best is there work ethic towards the game of hockey. They show that passion in the sport and that want drives them to get better everyday.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favourite part of the hockey is that it is an escape from problems in the world and that you only think about hockey. Hockey takes your mind off school, tests, chores, etc. That’s why I love the sport of hockey cause you only think about hockey and only hockey when you are on the ice.
