What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
I would like to go and play Jr. A in Canada. I also have the goal of playing in the NCAA and getting an education.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
I choose they goals because I think it is important to get a good education and playing Jr. A would help me get into the NCAA. Achieving these goals would mean a lot because I have had many roadblocks that have come up in my hockey career that I have had to work around and achieving my goal of going to the NCAA would feel just that much better.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
I’m a hard guy to play against and I finish my checks. I need to work on my hands and hitting the net on quick shots. I’m making sure I am stick-handling and shooting pucks daily.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring physicality and good passing to set up plays. They expect me to play hard on both sides of the puck and help set up plays or try to put the puck in the net.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I would like to show people that no matter what happens anything can be possible when you put the work in.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I think speed, shooting and the ability to make the right play all the time at high speed are what separates the good players from the great players.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
You get to meet new people every day and O get to challenge myself against other really good players.
