What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
During the coming season I hope to be the top player on my team for my last year of my U18 AAA league play. For the 2025/2026 season I hope to make either the AJHL or the SJHL. I would like to age out in either of those leagues and hopefully get selected to play in NCAA after that. I would also like to try an play pro hockey after my education is completed.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These are my goals so I can get education and continue playing hockey. These goals are important so that I can continue playing hockey and gain an education so I can have a successful career when I can no longer play hockey. If I achieved these goals, it would mean the world to me and my parents. To know that their sacrifices and my hard work and commitment to the game on and off the ice paid off.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
I am always willing to work hard I am a good teammate on and off the ice. I am good guy to have in the locker room. I need to work on my foot speed, hockey IQ, and confidence. To get better during the off season, I work hard in the gym, and I take skills seasons. I also do a 5-week hockey camp in the summer.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I have a great work ethic and I have a good personality. I am a well-liked member on any team I have been on. I have good relationships with my teammates. If coach selected me for his roster, they would get a hard-working player. I give it my all-in practices and game play. I take direction and criticism well.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I hope to represent whatever team I play for and make the community proud that I was part of there team. I would enjoy helping with community events that represent the team.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I think the best players are separated by their skill, dedication and how they represent themselves. Attitude would be an attribute that would define then.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favorite thing about hockey is that it’s a team sport, camaraderie, discipline, the game itself, and constant improvement in my game. Off the ice I like that I keep in shape and that I am representing a team
