What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
I want to play U17 Prep/AAA or U18 Prep/AAA, eventually leading into college/university at the NCAA level.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
This is the next step to achieve a great education as well as playing high level hockey. This path will help me grow as a young hockey player into a mature adult, as well as a responsible citizen and a role model for my community and teammates. The tools that I’m learning along the way will not only help me in hockey but in future endeavours.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
As a player, my work ethic sets me apart from others. I take responsibility for my role and I’m determined to improve all the time as I continue to work on and off the ice. I’m mentally and physically prepared for every game and practice, and welcome constructive feedback from coaches, trainers and teammates. I continue to review game films to visually see the areas that I can improve for the next game.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring coachability, a positive attitude, a drive to win and discipline. You can expect a player that respects the crest on the front, and the name on the back. Humble in victory, gracious in defeat.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
During my sports career I always want to have Integrity, be a role model for the game, and always show respect to everyone.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
Thier attitude, mental toughness, humility, focus, and determination is always just second to none. They stay true to their core values, family support and respect for others.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
I’m extremely fortunate to be able to play the game that I love the most at a level that challenges me physically and mentally.
