Tatum Amy
HOCKEY REPRESENTATIVE
Born and raised in the small town of Birtle, Manitoba, Tatum put on her first pair of skates at the age of just 3 years old. At that moment she fell in love with the game of hockey. She played all her minor hockey in Manitoba, including with the U18 AAA Yellowhead Chiefs, and cracked the Provincial team in 2017. Her strong play in minor hockey led to an opportunity to play at the USPORTS level with the Mount Royal University Cougars for 6 years on scholarship. During her time at Mount Royal University, she was named team Captain and as Captain, she helped lead Mount Royal to win its first U SPORTS National Championship. Graduating with a degree in Health and Physical Education, Tatum then went to Sweden to play a year professionally with Leksand IF in the SDHL.
“I have always been grateful for the experiences I have been able to encounter through hockey; through wins, losses, travel, relationships, community involvement & the competitiveness of the sport. I am extremely excited to work with young athletes to help them navigate and create their own path to success and achieve their goals academically, athletically, and in life.”
