Born in Vernon, BC, playing hockey was one of Billy’s earliest memories. There was never any doubt about what position he wanted to play, Billy was a goalie. He played all his minor hockey in Vernon, BC and following that went on to play junior hockey in the BCHL, VIJHL, KIJHL and a few others ultimately ending his Junior Career in Wainwright, AB for the Bisons. Coming off a goalie of the year award and a championship in his 20-year-old season, Billy continued his hockey career at Briercrest College where he also earned a degree in Business Administration in 2023. After attending a pro tryout, Billy decided on coaching and started Unmatched Goaltending, where he prides himself on developing a goalie’s entire toolbox.

In the fall of 2023 with a wealth of knowledge, experience and a want to continue to be involved in the game of hockey, Billy joined the Visionary Sports team.
