What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
Become a starter for a Jr.A team, get a NCAA Div 1 scholarship, get to a professional league.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These are my goals because I want to pursue my hockey career to the highest level I can and for as long as I can. It will also help me set up my future and show that all my hard work has paid off.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
An area that requires work is my communication with others. I am not the most vocal person and I will need to step that up. Also, my speed in the crease will need to get faster as I step up another level, and I will need to read the players and the game a lot better as well. I continue to get better by working out, stretching, watching hockey, and practicing hand eye exercises.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring a calm composed game. I show confidence in the net and hope it spreads throughout the whole team. The coach would expect me to help the team win and battle to come out on top.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
The impact I am looking to have in my sports career is that hard work pays off. I want to be a role model to younger kids to never quit and be a positive influence. I want to be a great person and inspire the next generation.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
Their consistency, work ethic, and passion for the game is what I believe separates the very best from the rest.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
Making new friends.
Making Big saves.
The excitement.
Being cheered on,.
Watching big hits.
