What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
I want to play both junior and post secondary hockey within the next 5 years. I also want to push myself to be the best version of myself on and off the ice.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These are my goals and are important to me because I want to play hockey at the highest level possible well getting a good education and start to my future. I will do this by continuing to make sure I am always giving 100% effort in both the classroom and the rink.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
What separates me from others is my work ethic and motivation to achieve my goals, as well as my ability to always make the best out of any situation and stay positive when times are tough. I need to work on my discipline in the classroom so I get my work done on time and to the best of my abilities. I need to also work hard on turning my weakness on the ice into strengths. I will continue to improve by setting small goals for myself.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring a athletic big goalie who can be relied on as well as hardworking and open minded. Off ice I am a person that is easy yo talk to and gets along with everyone.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
When I stop playing hockey I want to be able to say I had no regrets and got so much out of it as I possibly could. I also want to win a championship as I never have before.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I think that the best are separated by the little things they do both when people are watching them and behind closed doors. This includes there discipline , recovery as well as working as hard as they can on perfecting their craft.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
I love competing and making big saves with the pressure on. I also love the bond and friendship I form with the people I meet around the game.
