What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
My two main goals are to get drafted into the WHL as well as play U18AAA as a first year. The season these are my goals is because getting drafted is one step closer to the WHL. Playing U18 as a first year means you are playing against the best 15, 16, and 17 year olds in Sask.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
The main thing is I am calm off of the ice but as soon I step onto the ice you can’t be as calm or else you won’t be ready for the game you are about to play. The area that needs the most work is my actions when a teammate makes a mistake.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
The thing that I bring to the team is hard work and the desire to never quit. A coach would expect me to give 100% effort all the time and never quit.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
To contribute to my team’s success and to be know as the hardest worker at any given time.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I always love to give back to the community, where ever I am playing.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
I think the mental game is the biggest part in the NHL. Everyone can skate and shoot but if you take a shot thinking you are not going to score, you probably wont.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
That you have a chance to win each and every game, no matter what team you are on you because any team can win.
