What are some of your main goals within the game over the next 5 years?
My main goals over the next five years would be for next year to advance to the u18AAA level, and then after that advance to the major Junior level.
Why are these your goals? Why are they important to you? What would it mean to achieve them?
These goals are important to me because my dream has always been to play high level hockey and ultimately make it to the NHL. It would mean a lot to me to be able to say I achieved my dreams.
What separates you as a player and person? What are some areas requiring work? How do you continue to get better?
I think that my work ethic and drive to always have the puck separates me as a player, as a person I think that I am always respectful to others. Some areas that I can work on would be not to get down on myself when I make a mistake and just shake it off and keep going. I can continue to watch films of my games and pinpoint an area per game I can work on.
What do you bring to any team you play for? What could a coach expect from you if they selected you for their roster?
I bring a hard work ethic and positive attitude to the teams I play for. They can expect a strong work ethic and respect for them as well as the players on the team.
What impact are you looking to have in your sports career? (Community, team, success, etc)
I am looking to have a positive impact on the coaches and my teammates around me and always making a good environment for everyone.
What do you believe separates the best players in the world? What attributes/intangibles define them?
The best players in the world I think are constantly thinking and working around the game. They always do the little things right and go hard every shift and have an impact every shift.
Favorite thing about the game (on or off ice)?
My favourite thing about the game for the on ice part would be the feeling of scoring or doing something right and having all your teammates rally around you. My favourite off ice part would be building strong connections with teammates.
